Hospice Care in Your Home

Community & Supportive Care

Living with a terminal illness can be an isolating experience and caring for someone can be challenging for a loved one. Our Volunteer Visiting Program provides companionship, comfort, and practical support for the person living with a terminal illness as well as respite care for their caregivers and family.

Trained, caring, and dedicated volunteers visit the person living with a terminal illness in their home or for outings in the community. Using a confidential and thorough intake process we ensure that you, or your loved one, is matched with a volunteer who can support your unique needs.

Clients and their volunteers enjoy activities such as:

Companionship in the home:

  • Conversation

  • Reading

  • Watching movies

  • Legacy work (photo albums, videos, etc.)

Outings in the community:

  • Walks

  • Trips to appointments

  • Activities (coffee, shopping, etc.)
